I also think that it was quite inappropriate for that person to tweet the drawing without the artist’s permission. :/ When I saw he had retweeted it I thought “HOLY SH*T, I hope the artist was alright with that..”. I had a mini heart attack and I didn’t even draw it. lol

and that’s a lot of what we’re all trying to convey.  Bottom line, it wasn’t their place to share that with Noel, it was Veronika’s.  Even though it was my concept, I wasn’t running to Noel either, cos it wasn’t my place nor did I think it all that appropriate. ESPECIALLY out of context.  The joke was he was supposed to be Mrs. Robinson from the movie The Graduate, not just random naked Noely in stockings (which is what Veronika and I are discussing currently). I just hope nothing like that happens again because ive already heard the sentence “it will totally make me think about what I will and what I won’t draw in the future” and that I think will be the biggest problem from this scenario. 

MEETUPS

Hey Fieldmice

There’s a lot of talk of meetups so I wanted to let you all know what I had in mind and see what you all think.

For the warm-up gigs, I leave the details of those to be left in the capable hands of our UK Fieldmice but anyone who sets one up and needs help getting the word out, just let me know and I’ll be happy to reblog the post, spread the word, whatever to give you guys a hand!

For the Festival Supreme, I was intending to do a bit of a roll call again like I did for the Oz shows, but I wanted to give folks a bit more time because some Fieldmice who plan to go may not have their tickets *JUST* yet or still have to sort out other details like flights/hotels (like myself) so I’m gonna wait til we’re a bit more midway from now to then before I start collecting names and trying to figure out times and places.

Any other thoughts, feel free to add them to this with a reblog or shoot me a message or whatever!!

Do you think it’s “People in the night” or “People in denial” right before Noel sings people up above in the Luxury Comedy theme song?  I was thinking “People in the night”, but that doesn’t make an awful lot of sense. :3 “People in denial” kind of fits because Dondylion and Fantasy Man are really out of touch with reality. lol May seem like a silly question, but every time I hear the song it bugs me. Any theories?
